





Goin’ back to grassroots
Platform was founded by a team of teachers and ex-professional football players.
They’d built up a huge following, but their brand looked more like a regulatory body. A lot serious, but a little bit cold. This couldn’t have been further away from what Platform was all about. Despite the founders’ elite background, this was all about reaching kids as kids, not as future pro footballer and getting them to fall in love with the game.
We created a brand that reflected the language of football that the audience were used to. Taking influence from from gaming to stickerbooks to playground talk, the brand needed to bring the fun and feel like sport at its most desirable. Across positioning, identity, website, and even kit design we build a brand that got kids and parents raring to go.
Underneath it all, the brand was also built to help the business scale beyond football with an architecture that takes them into cricket, rugby and other sports too.
